Renewal, NRA Courses, AR-15, and Dry-Fire Training
The curriculum is aligned with renewal standards established by the Maryland State Police and the Metropolitan Police Department, ensuring students receive current, compliant instruction reflective of evolving laws and best practices.
Upon successful completion, students will receive renewal training certification suitable for submission with Maryland and/or Washington, DC permit renewal applications. Graduates will leave with refreshed skills, up-to-date legal knowledge, and continued confidence to carry responsibly and lawfully.
Unlike group classes, one-on-one instruction allows the training pace, drills, and coaching style to be fully customized—making it ideal for students who value discretion, efficiency, and targeted skill development.

Upon completion, students will have a solid understanding of the AR-15 platform, increased confidence in operating and maintaining their rifle, and a strong foundation for future rifle training.
Through guided instruction and hands-on drills, participants learn and practice proper grip, sight alignment and sight picture, trigger discipline, stance, and natural point of aim. Laser feedback from SIRT pistols reinforces visual confirmation of fundamentals, allowing students to immediately identify and correct errors.
Students will learn repeatable dry-fire drills that can be safely practiced at home to reinforce skills and accelerate improvement between live-fire range sessions. This session provides an excellent opportunity to introduce and refine drawing from concealment, emphasizing safe, efficient movement and consistent presentation.
